ECG signal processing

The CardioNS mobile ECG device is connected to an Android mobile device via a stable USB connection. It is a plug-and-play connection and requires no additional drivers. The heart signals are processed by the CardioNS Heart Outline Android mobile application, free to download from the Google Play Store. The CardioNS Heart Outline mobile application acquires, displays, interprets, streams, and prints the ECG signals. It records all 12 channels simultaneously: I, II, III, aVR, aVL, aVF, V1, and from V2 to V6. The sampling frequency can be set to 200, 400, and 800 Hz, allowing flexible adaptation to various clinical and research requirements.

The acquired signals can be filtered through a low-pass (25 Hz, 40 Hz, 65 Hz, 80 Hz, 100 Hz), high-pass (0.05 Hz, 0.067 Hz, 0.4 Hz, 0.5 Hz, 0.67 Hz, 1 Hz), and notch (50 or 60 Hz) filters, enabling precise noise reduction and optimized signal quality for accurate ECG analysis.

The amplitude scale can be set to 5, 10, 20, or 40 mm/mV, while the time scale is adjustable to 25, 50, or 100 mm/s, providing flexibility to match standard clinical settings and specific diagnostic needs.

The recording time ranges from 5 seconds to 60 minutes, enabling both brief diagnostic snapshots and extended monitoring sessions to be captured with precision.

The electrode placement and pacemaker detection are also standard features, ensuring accurate measurements and safe use across a wide range of patients.

Data Management

Reports are available within the CardioNS App mobile application.

Reports are generated in CSV and PDF formats, and they can be securely visualized, stored, shared, or printed on the internal network.

The generated CSV reports can be seamlessly integrated into compatible worklists or transferred via GDT integration format for streamlined workflow management.

Streaming

A unique, state-of-the-art feature of CardioNS is the live streaming of heart signals to another Android device running the CardioNS Heart Outline application on the same Wi-Fi network.
